Experience for 4 or 7 days the Canadian wilderness at this remote ranch in the Chilcotin. Day 1 Vancouver - Ranch (6 hrs escorted) You will be transferred to the ranch by maxi-van to start your winter holiday. You will travel along the very scenic Fraser Canyon to the wilderness ranch. The first evening is spent getting settled at the ranch. Day 2-3 Ranch or Mountain Cabins Experienced guides who know the best places to ski and the best ways to get to them guide the trips. When you're not skiing, you can enjoy the many other options available, such as sleigh rides, horseback riding on woolly Cayuse horses, biathlon shooting and more. Day 4 Return trip to Vancouver (6 hrs escorted) After a morning at the ranch, you will be escorted via the Fraser Canyon back to Vancouver. Your winter wilderness vacation is at an end. 7-Day Trips As above adding an extra 3 days on the trails. Trips start Sunday and end Saturday. For more of a challenge, you can ski tour into the high alpine in the deep winter snowdrifts and stay at the Spruce Lake cabin. Besides outstanding backcountry skiing opportunities, you can ice fish or explore 50 million year old fossil bluffs. The cabin sleeps 6-8 and is equipped with propane and wood stoves and a radiophone. Our licensed guides transport all gear and supplies, so there's no heavy packs. All holidays can be custom made to your individual needs.
