This
holiday is a dazzling fourteen-day tour from the Pacific Ocean to
the Rocky Mountains, some of the most beautiful sights of Western
Canada. Arrive in Vancouver, BC where you will begin your exploration
of Vancouver and Vancouver Island. Cross on the BC Ferry to BC's capital
city, Victoria. Explore the West Coast of Vancouver island and the
Pacific Rim National Park. Drive the scenic Sea to Sky Hwy to Whistler,
through the interior of BC to Kamloops and to the most scenic areas
of Canada, the Rocky Mountains. Explore the Rocky Mountains with the
final destination in Calgary.

1 Vancouver
Arrive in Vancouver
.
Transfer
to your Vancouver hotel and
relax or explore British Columbia's largest city. Overnight Vancouver.
Day 2 Vancouver
Today you can enjoy touring the beautiful city of Vancouver. You can
tour Stanley Park, Queen Elizabeth Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge,
Grouse Mountain Gondola, Gastown and more.
Day 3 Vancouver-Victoria
Pick up your rental car and drive to the ferry to board for your trip
to Victoria
.
Enjoy the picturesque 1-½ hour ferry ride to Vancouver Island.
Explore the city and view the Butchart Gardens, Empress Hotel and
Parliament Buildings at night. Overnight Victoria.
Day 4 Victoria
Enjoy the many sights of Victoria with its British colonial heritage.
There are numerous activities and sights to see. Optional activities
are a visit to the Royal BC Museum, Royal London Wax Museum, Crystal
Gardens or take in a horse-drawn carriage ride. Overnight in Victoria.
Day 5 Victoria - West Coast (4 hrs)
On this day you will drive to the rugged west coast of Vancouver Island.
Along the scenic drive, stop at Coombs with its quaint shops and goats
on the roof or Cathedral Grove with its giant cedar trees. Continue
on to the West Coast where your oceanfront accommodations await you.
Day 6 Pacific Rim National Park
Activities on the west coast are too numerous to list. You could go
on hikes, kayaking trips, canoe trips, fishing or just enjoy beautiful
Long Beach. You may want to choose a Hot Springs Tour on board a 65'
Lady Selkirk boat for a "Dip of a lifetime." Overnight on
the West Coast.
Day 7 West Coast-Parksville (2 hrs)
Travel back to the east coast of Vancouver Island. Stop and overnight
at Parksville where you can enjoy the afternoon and evening on beautiful
Rathtrevor Beach. Overnight in oceanfront accommodations, Parksville.
Day 8 Parksville-Whistler (4 1/2 hrs driving time)
Drive
the short distance to Nanaimo and board the ferry to Horeshoe Bay.
Drive the 2 hours to the alpine village of Whistler. Spend the afternoon
hiking, or enjoy the shops and nightlife in Whistler. Overnight Whistler.
Day 9 Whistler-Kamloops (4 hrs)
Enjoy the scenic drive through the interior of BC to Kamloops. You
can stop at Lillooet and Hat Creek Ranch for a little bit of BC's
gold rush history. Optional Wanda Sue Paddlewheeler cruise on the
Thompson River in Kamloops. Overnight Kamloops.
Day 10 Kamloops-Jasper (6 hrs)
Take the
Yellowhead Hwy north to Jasper, through picturesque mountain scenery.
View breathtaking Mt. Robson. Overnight Jasper.

11 Jasper
Enjoy your stay in Jasper. Activities may include sightseeing
at Maligne Canyon and Edith Cavell, Jasper Tramway, the Maligne Lake
Tour, Miette Hot Springs, hiking, whitewater rafting, etc. Overnight
Jasper.
Day 12 Jasper - Banff (3 ¾ hrs)
Drive leisurely through the most spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains,
along the Icefields Parkway. Stop at the Columbia Icefields and Athabasca
Falls to name a few of the numerous sights to see along the route.
Arrive in Banff and enjoy your accommodations in this mountain resort
town.
Day 13 Banff
Enjoy Banff or take a trip to Lake Louise with its breathtaking view
and beautiful Chateau. Activities in and around Banff are hiking,
whitewater rafting, heli-sightseeing, horseback riding, Banff Hot
Springs and Cave and Basin Historical Site.
Day 14 Banff - Calgary (1 ½ hrs).
Today you will drive the short distance to Calgary and drop off your
rental car. The Sea to Sky trip is at an end.
