Ranch Grizzly Viewing Enjoy 4 full days at a wilderness ranch in the heart of BC's chilcotin area. On this holiday, you will be staying overnight at the ranch while taking day trips by 4X4 to view the grizzlies. Advanced experience only, pack trip or mountain experience. This holiday takes you from the cosmopolitan city of Vancouver to the truly wilderness setting of the Chilcotin. Stable Mountain Cayuse horses take riders into the backcountry like explorers with packhorses in tow. The focus in on viewing the Grizzlies and itineraries are dependent on the movements of the grizzlies. Voyage up scenic Knight Inlet to watch grizzly bears feed on spawning salmon in a mountain river. From the safety of raised viewing platforms, local bear guides we inform and educate you. Enjoy Orca (killer whale) viewing and Native Culture while sea kayaking the picturesque Johnstone Strait. You will kayak daily to where the orcas, sealions, porpoises, humpback and minke whales can be seen.
